The Producer by Jaden Braniff is an enjoyable read. The characters
were well written and believable. The story is very visual. While
reading I actually felt like I was watching a movie. I couldn't put it
down. The premise is intriguing and probable. I have recommended the
book to many of my friends and family.

My new bio
The articles of author Jaden Braniff can be found in
military family publications and a Nova Scotia newspaper. But when Jaden was
approached with a concept for a stage play from an independent recording
artist, he jumped at the chance to pen his interpretation of the artist’s
lyrics.
Upon the completion of “The Ballad of Elvis Christ,” a depiction
of the pressures of the rise and fall of a musical icon, a story that burned in
the back of Jaden’s mind for the better part of 20 years begged to be shared
with the world. Through Jaden’s words “The Producer” came to life.
Jaden was born in New West Minster BC in 1972 and moved to
Kamloops BC with his family at the age of one. The decision to become a rock
star or an actor bounced around until he finished high school and realized that
he needed to get a job to pay bills.
Moving around the West coast of Canada for the last twenty
years, Jaden always had a journal with him. Through those years, many stage
plays and stories made it to paper but few were selected to hit an independent
theatrical stage.
“The Producer” is the first in a three book series and the
second installment, “The Stage” has taken its first steps to become a reality.
Jaden has found that his passion for writing has hit a new
level as the barrier that once held him from stepping into the world of “Author”
no longer exists.

The Producer, written by Jaden Braniff is a unique and surprisingly not so far fetched story. The characters are compelling and well developed which allowed me to form a vivid image in my mind as I read...I love that. I found myself always changing who I thought was "the producer", so it was also very unpredictable with many twists and turns. Oh and did I mention chapter 10? Because if I didn't, I really should...it's a must read. This is Jaden Braniff's first novel, and I have to say that I am very much looking forward to the sequel to find out what will become of this chaos that has developed, a much needed chaos I'd say. I recommend this novel to my family, friends as well as anybody who enjoys a good sci-fi story.

and intrigued. I could not put this book down! Very well written. I

"Jaden is my son and he has been talking about writing this story for a long time. This is not my genre of story so I really didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The story held my interest and the characters seemed real. I was very pleased for him that he finally had done it. After reading "The Producer" I spoke with Jaden and asked him when the sequel was going to be written as I felt there had to be more to the story. An English teacher would have a problem with the rough copy however, if you can get past that, for those of you who have an interest in the sci-fi genre this book is well worth the read."

Each chapter adds a twist that keeps you wanting to read "just one more chapter". I absolutely could not put this down. The story is set in future Victoria, BC, Canada. If you are familiar with Victoria, you will recognize many of the place names mentioned. It is an intriguing story with elements of addiction, government/corporate mind control of the sheeple, betrayal, what happens to the sheeple when the mind control is lost, can they think for themselves? Do they even want to?
